Indie game developer. Despite the links/logos, this isn't my company's social media page, it's mine! Poetry, code-poetry, economics, art to fill the silence and delight the curious. I wanna try everything (he/him + ADHD + divorced from biofam + polyam).

Nothing more euphoric to me than looking back at my work and thinking, "I'm making something good." It's a rarely found white whale of mine because my standards for myself are absurd. Best wishes to fellow creatives establishing themselves, because I know y'all guilty of that too #gamedev #ttrpgdev

Very curious, and I’m not a dev so I apologize if I’m way off here- but it seems like game devs are in a pretty shit position all the way around. What are some of the roadblocks to unionizing? I’m shocked there are not already unions protecting developers- who imo are creatives as much as anyone.

Game jamming is really fun. I am doing things I haven't done before. The programmer tells me all the stuff he needs before he goes to bed and then I try to deliver before I myself go to bed (which is when he wakes up - timezones lol).
