Finnmark is too far north for grain growing, so the little brewing that happened up there was from bought grain. Very limited brewing. That’s also why wild rosemary usage in Norway stands at 0% in table 4. No wild rosemary where people actually brewed.

It is toxic, but at the same time I've drunk beer made with it with zero ill effects. I guess it's a question of dose.
