Agree. It's also deceptive. He seems to suggest that because Netanyahu's family lived in Poland, there were not Jews living in the area that is now Israel. Obviously, it was not only Jews, but Jews were living there This conflict is hard enough without people trying to rewrite the facts.

You would think Americans of all people would understand how fluid and contingent surnames are, but I guess not. It's a whole big part of our national myth, people changing their names when they arrived here, willingly or not! And yeah, that happens everywhere for all kinds of reasons.
