If you think an ask is a scam? You can mute/block/unfollow or scroll by. You don’t have to make an already horrible situation worse with cruel, unfounded accusations. Folks are already shelving dignity & pride to ask for help, don’t pour salt into the wound.

Too many of y’all make it your personality to look down on & assume every single plea for help is a scam. Spoiler, it is one of the hardest things to do, to ask for help to stay housed, fed, medicated, etc. No one likes passing the hat, at all. So fix your heart.

It’s the first and I want to remind y’all we’re in the worst economy I’ve experienced as an adult. So, so many people are out of work & have been for a while. It’s the worst time to be job hunting. So if you see a GFM, mutual aid request or plea for help?
