I know little about Charlie Kirk. Never paid much attention to his dark, inane posts but I am appalled at his death. Politics has been pushed to the point where extremist language leads to violence. In a democracy, there is no justification for the murder of a man over ideas. This is a wake-up call.

It's been a busy morning. We've had two workmen to do jobs. Both came early, both were really efficient and are now done and gone. To keep out of the way, I had a busy baking morning. Just 5 apples left now.
