Maddawg, who is understandably concerned he will die before Em-8er is finished (I mean we all will, but Maddawg sooner than most) and just wants to play something like Firefall again called Mark out - again. Mark cried about complaints in the complaint channel and it should only be private.
Show PostIt's quite tricky to verify Mark's claims, since things get deleted etc in the channel all the time - but the last new build was the day before this and was almost entirely minor tweaks to settings like glide distance, weapon damage, ammo count, etc.
Show PostSince Mark had this exchange with Maddawg there have been no further software updates, he's posted affiliate links for Meta PCs 12 times, and Grummz initially blamed Norton before discovering Em8er is no longer Windows 10 compatible, needs Win 11.
Show PostPlaying the latest version of the demo that is almost indistinguishable from the other versions has understandably not swayed Maddawg. The Em-8er discord remains a fascinating insight into how people react to being clearly grifted for years on end.
