Helicopter is a nice word. Very nice. "Helix-wing." But in German it's Hubschrauber, which means like "Lift-screwer". Sprache der Dichter und Denker

If you’re struggling to get hold of special eclipse glasses, then you can always look at the shadow it produces through a colander. This worked well for us last time.
