St Peter's in Melverley has been a site of Christian worship for 1000 years. In 1401, the original Church was burnt down by Owain Glyndwr's armies. By 1406, it was rebuilt using local oak. The vastness of history rises from the wood. It's such a special place 💚 #Folklore #Shropshire
