Can't recall where I saw it first, but getting used to drawing lines as straight as you can over itself without thickening the line does a good deal to teach motor control and consistent movement. Doing arcs and circles too is a part of warm-ups for some professionals.

It can depend on what your goals are with drawing. Different targets will have different stepping stones When I started forever ago I used drawing vhs tapes to guide particular development (shout out to draw squad) cause I wanted to be an architect If you don't know where to start, go with warmups
