It is an endless source of sadness to me that the Labour Party that I was born and raised a part of has decided that the rights of a minority aren't important, and that punching down is good politics. Won't even consider voiting for them again until they change this.

I well remember the pair of them rolling out of Searsons in Baggot St and disrupting Miss Keilty's classes by shouting riotous comments up at the first floor windows of my school. Dear tv and radio producers. Thankyou for the invitation. But, no, I do not want to appear on your show to defend the idea that I am English, after 50 years of living and working here, because the increasingly feral right want to turn this into a "debate" and you cannot see how you're being played
