@pymc-labs.bsky.socialI'm excited to learn about the opportunity to contribute to the Master Agentic Data Science program!
Show PostTomorrow, I'm on the Vanishing Gradients podcast to talk about agentic science with @hugobowne.bsky.social, Shipra Arora from Bain & Company, and Luca Fiaschi from @pymc-labs.bsky.social Online live panel, with QA! 🗓️ Fri Oct 2, 1pm CEST / 7am EST ➡️ Register: numfocus-org.zoom.us/webinar/regi...
Show PostGreat work like Alchemize from @pymc-labs.bsky.social has illustrated that building custom kernels is a nicely shaped coding agent task with a clear validation loop. As a result, supplying your own density kernel is much easier than it sounds these days, as I discuss more in the post below.
Show PostLike all of their blogs, this is detailed and cool. I like the double-poisson contest model, as it allows deriving the probs of wins and ties from the score model, and they can do cool things like model excess ties too
Show PostThis is the kind of agent story that lands: narrow scope, measurable speedup, validation against a reference, and the scaffolding cost stated out loud. Much more convincing than ‘AI wrote Rust’ by itself — the real value is that the workflow stayed inspectable.
