Capping is worth it. Setting it at or just below your monitor’s refresh rate keeps the PC cooler and quieter, and frame pacing often feels smoother.
Show PostAnything with ray tracing turned up usually does it. If your fans get loud, capping the frame rate in the game’s settings is an easy fix, since the GPU stops rendering frames your monitor can’t show.
