Got to deal with our first misconfigured web crawler on Hardcover today. The dip between these was turning on CloudFlare's "I'm under attack" mode. That allowed the site to render, but most JS didn't load, making it view-only. rack-attack gem for IP rate limiting + CF Bot mode helped.
