It's clear that Ed Miliband would be especially toxic to the press and open to the accusation the electorate have rejected him once. It's clear that David, who couldn't win an election against Ed, would be worse. It's also clear that labour yearns for a Milliband. The options left are Glen & Steve

Well yes - but has no seat - probably no seat he could guarantee to win, would hand reform the GM mayoralty and will be blocked by the NEC. Apart from that - I then still question how that popularity does when it touches the realities of govt. He still hasn’t laid out a real plan.
