@dogpawoffleash.bsky.social However this same individual has repeatedly harrassed and intimidated several women at Lucky Dog Park so why can't this person be charged with harrassment or menacing so the group could ban him from the park?
Show Post@dogpawoffleash.bsky.social According to Washington State law there is no law that bans open carry in parks or where children gather. The deputies can ask the person to leave but cant force him. SB5098b has died on the Senate floor and there is not way the county can ban it.
Show Post@dogpawoffleash.bsky.social It appears that the deputies hands were tied due to a mistake on the sign posted at the park entrance. The line that says firearms are prohibited was just a Dogpaw rule and not the exact law or county ordinance. It turns out that the rule can't be enforced.
Show Post@dogpawoffleash.bsky.social This evening at Lucky Dog Park, the individual who repeatedly walks around the park with a weapon clearly visible on his right hip was in the park. In the past he has harrassed, tried to intimidate the women in the park. We have been told by Dogpaw leaders to call 311.

He did, however, film their interactions and it was very clear he was looking for a confrontation with the deputies. The deputies did not give him one
