Reading replies to a post about the NHS guidance and so many cis people, while admitting it's a cruel policy, also down play the impact because there are so few trans people. They just think about cis people. For trans people, the impact is massive, the danger very real, and the results deadly.

Ex-boss filed a $12 theft charge against an ex-employee because she got a restraining order in response to his creepy behavior. Charge was never prosecuted, but it gave ICE an excuse to arrest and detain her. Congratulations to the 58 Democrats who voted for the Laken Riley Act. You own this.

Germany is hyped: Waymo started in munich. In my head: Six years and 100 million kilometres, almost half the journeys are made with no passengers; demand is linked to income rather than need; and for people who cannot transfer from their wheelchairs, the robot taxi service simply does not exist.
