I mean yeah I read some of the Left Behind books as a kid. I'm familiar with the ideas and know I have family who still goes for that shit. I just think it doesn't really have internal logic. Also it's pretty evil.

There's a chance of harnessing this outrage to give Israel the full South Africa treatment. This is bad for literally everyone involved except the Palestinian people. Türkiye, Russia, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and the international ethnonationalist authoritarian movement want genocide to be acceptable.
