In observance of last spring's March Sadness tournament (i.e. the saddest 90s songs) & in anticipation of the upcoming March Xmas (i.e. the best winter holiday songs), I wrote a @marchxness.bsky.social essay about "Family Life" by the Blue Nile, which qualifies as both. Hope you like weeping!

Do yourself a favor & go read @martinseay.bsky.social's extracurricular essay on "Family Life" by Blue Nile over at @marchxness.bsky.social. Martin's long essays for the tournaments have been past favorites - so smart and moving- this one also fits that bill. marchxness.com/the-essays?u...
