Season one and two were perfectly fine. The Luke appearance at the end was decent fan service that closed out the arc between Mando and Grogu perfectly well, imo. If they had left it there, I'd have no complaints. But then they walked it back hard, and it turned into The Star Wars Show.

I would say that Luke showing up in Mando Season 2 was fine because it kept what the show was about, Mando and Grogu’s paths, in tact and brought the conclusion the show was building up to. And then Book of Boba Fett undid that and Season 3 felt aimless all because of how famous Grogu got.

The moment Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing showed up at the end of The Mandalorian’s second season to save the day, I fully believed the show didn’t respect its new characters and prioritized the fanservice. Book of Boba Fett was bad, Mandalorian Season 3 was worse. At least Andor’s good.

Just wanted to say as I'm working on the Versus video for Metroid Prime, I'm surprised how well this ended up doing in a week's time. I know part of it is just because we're in the hype cycle for Ravenous, but I'm thankful more people watched this than I was expecting. Thank you, sincerely.
