some folks were just destined to be inconveniently obese

I get that it’s hot for some folks. But I really don’t care for the term morbid obesity. Obesity is a term to label fat bodies as inherently diseased. And morbid literally means that you’re so fat it’s making you sick (morbid from morbidities in this case). It’s not hot. It’s just stigmatizing.
Show PostI would rather you call me a pig than morbidly obese. At least one isn’t a term used by the medical industry to tell me my body is wrong and that being fat is going to kill me.
