I mean tbf art parties MASSIVELY changed since they introduced data center travel as it becames soooo cliquey and stopped being this cool art focused thing and more of a social hub where only friend groups interact with each other but idk. It is what it is

Now that im not involved in xiv atm I can say that my truth is that I always thought it was a little lame for people to go to art parties as npcs and then people drawing those npcs when the whole point is for like yknow....to draw other peoples original characters
