There are both a lot of problems with American healthcare relative to peers, and a shitload of magical thinking among a lot of lefty Americans about the actual tradeoffs involved in healthcare as a policy issue. Eg: people get upset if you point out that provider pay going down is necessary for M4A.

I’m not convinced by this. You need to know quite a bit to put this stuff in place, even with an LLM to help. Maybe that will change but I’m not sure. I think the bad guys have the upper hand.
