As other folks have said as well, even just googling "breathe support singing techniques/practises" will give you a lot of tools you can kinda mold and adjust to use specifically for speaking/acting, not just singing!

Thiiisssss seconding all of this Learning to speak from your diaphragm feels so weird and unnatural at first, but if you can get into the habit of practising "speaking from your stomach, not your throat" often enough, you'll notice a HUGE difference in breath support and range vocally

(Also gonna feel it more in your diaphragm/stomach, it feels weird but you get used to it)

I’ll occasionally run a vocal exercise where I have to say “don’t let it touch the back of your throat” a few times in a row where I’m VERY careful about pushing forward the last vowel on “throat” so there is no airiness/vocal collapse. You should feel it more in your mouth than your throat

I would say from my experience with dealing with some of the same (primarily from commercial coaching/commercial work), a good thing to do is practice your breath control on where you put the volume in a sentence - even doing that silly exercise where you increase in volume will help that muscle
