Types that cross between the web app and Rust use github.com/aleph-alpha/.... The generation is automated when the web app starts up in development or gets built for production.

The answer nobody wants: It depends 😅. If it's a client-server architecture, I use SvelteKit and expose an API that's consumed by Rust services. For my current project, I use adapter-node to build a static site and embed it in the Rust binary. That's a unique setup though.
