Smacks of people who haven't done their research - especially the health care bit! Now do a story about Europeans who moved to the US and found it awful.
Show PostBoth actually, and if they did actually do any research it's not difficult to discover that since Brexit, the UK has been on a downward slide on multiple fronts.
Show Post“I pay huge amounts of taxes and an immigration surcharge to access the NHS services—so no, the health care is not free here.” I can see why she didn't want to use her real name...
Show Post"The UK Home office reported a surge in residency applications from the US" no, it was an increase in *citizenship* applications from people who'd already *been* resident for 5 or 10+ years. why write about emigration and get something as basic as this so completely wrong?
Show PostIt's not even true. Healthcare in the UK is free at the point of use for British citizens. I believe, like every other country, there's a cost for immigrants to stop health tourism. This should be one of the first things to research for anyone emigrating anywhere.
