The way it goes... I spent the last few weeks trying to move some things to today knowing it was the last open space before the start of 49ers camp tomorrow. Then the news poured in today -- and I think will overlap into tomorrow in other ways.

Think my history of reporting things that make the 49ers uncomfortable is pretty established. And not just trolling. I'm fine with that. This one, just because I knew it was not a trade or a firing, AS I SAID, was different. It was personal health If Florio wants to keep attacking me for it, fine.

I'll say this again: Why haven't the 49ers just released Brandon Aiyuk? What are they gaining by being so stubborn about this? They can't just point to Aiyuk's behavior and whisper that they can do anything they want and it's his fault. No, not if they won't release him.
