We just returned from a trip through the Canadian Rockies. My husband and I are from the Olympic Peninsula of Washington and joked that we were on the American apology tour. Our Canadian neighbors were very kind and welcoming.

I live pretty close to Niagara Falls, and I love to visit a few times each year. I always stay over on the Canadian side and spend my money there. The U.S. side is a dystopian capitalist wasteland that almost makes me want to cry. Canada is pretty commercial, too, but it’s much nicer, honestly.
