oh i didn't know there was text based d&d that's interesting. that'd be fun to try sometime if the opportunity ever arose but i feel so self-conscious about my writing i think i'd explode 😭

fascinating....it'd be cool to try this some day, as someone who's only ever done D&D in person or in a VC speaking of which do you still do combat synchronously, with a VTT or anything? Is combat de-emphasized in favor of the text rp?

I didn't know this was an option bc I have the same problem and thought that I'd just have to give up on d&d..... this is really exciting news!!!!!! Plus I like text-based mediums too bc I too like to reread old rps

omg I would love this way of playing d&d. even if it's supposed to be "in the moment" I just take longer to react to something because I need to think!!
