The staff who are actually around and available are the same handful of hard working folks I see every year. They are beyond burnt out. They are stretched thin, they aren’t being communicated with, and they clearly don’t have the support and information they need. Some of them have gotten snippy.
Show PostThe main stage does not have a ramp, which means it is not accessible for performers or cosplayers or actors who need a ramp. No wheelchair access to the stage. People have had power chairs parked in the aisles because there is no designated space for them.
Show PostThere are also a lot of access issues here. There is almost no seating in the common spaces, no seating for food trucks, and all the accessible seats in main stage are grouped together, which means someone who is disabled is not going to be able to sit with their friends/family.
Show PostGot some late night cosplay in at #TrekLongIsland. I was a bit disappointed that the burlesque show and the cosplay masquerade were at the same time. I had to miss the burlesque because I had committed to the masquerade before the schedule came out. I’ll attempt to cosplay again tomorrow morning.
