It's been a while. I wish I were back with a new project, but I have to share something difficult. I have pancreatic cancer. Tomorrow at 5:30am I have surgery, then six months of chemo. I'm scared and hopeful, and I needed to share where I am and where I'm headed. buff.ly/9o8qcxv #100Devs
Show PostHi everyone. I thought I should give an update. Tomorrow will be one month since my surgery. It ended up being stage 3 not 1. It was fairly rough goings for a while but I’m doing ok and recovering well. I have an appointment in the AM and should find out then when I start chemo. #100Devs
Show PostLife update: I got a port implanted today. It was an out patient procedure so I’m on my way home now. So now I’m scheduled to begin chemo next Monday. I’m doing ok trying to keep my head up. One day at a time. 💙
