What am I "complying in advance with"? How am I a "smug prick"? You replying to the correct comment? Not sure what your issue is here, Sparky. I'm Canadian and would never enter the Nazi Germany for the same reasons I will never enter the USA while I implore other Canadians to do likewise.

So because it makes you happy, you're OK with them putting themselves in danger of arbitrary arrest and detention by crossing the border. That's rather selfish. I would tell them not to come, but you do you, I guess I hope it works out for them. If it doesn't, it's on them for risking it.
