In cases where they've gaslit and abused you, that's when you keep records. It isn't meant to be used as a weapon; it's a shield. It's not to publicly attack people you fell out with; you use it to keep yourself sane and protect yourself from flying monkeys. Genuine answer for a genuine question.

As someone who is prone to overthinking & rumination and has had plenty of moments where I have vented publicly about things in my life - I GENUINELY DO NOT KNOW. It isn't normal to keep tabs on shitty people. It's obsessive and unhealthy and only promotes black & white thinking.

I don't understand how people will either save messages to use against someone later or go through years of messages for hours or even days to find dirt and then still think they are in the right somehow in most of these cases.

I'm glad people within the yume community are finally speaking up properly about the unnecessary callouts a handful of people do. Like semi relating to this I NEVER approve of younger fans harassing older fans and their yumes when the older fans actually didn't do anything wrong in the 1st place (+)
