MY COMPUTER IS WORKING YAAAY I Had swapped out the GPU, CPU and Motherboard for an upgrade (rewards for weight loss~)-- basically rebuilt my computer and the first time doing anything with pc parts, and IT FUGGIN WORKS SO WELL NOW cpu: ryzen 5 3600 > Ryzen 7 5800X3D Gpu: rx 6600 > 9060xt

deadass i think it was because my psu is kinda weak bcs its still stock and i didnt upgrade when i got a new gpu. but in the same vein it should not have hard-crashed my pc when its the most nothingburger game of all time

It can do a lot! You can run it at higher resolutions if you are already maxing the frame rate in Vanilla Doom. Maybe give that a go?

This video shows the trade off being using the size of the frame buffer how when the object is made very small it gets blurry but if you increase the frame buffer it is sharper but the frame rate slows down. It is kind of like you have to find that right balance. Never take the GPU for granted!
