If you improperly use mesh colliders, I will shit your pants. 1) duplicate a mesh 2) smooth the edges with lower poly topology 3) delete the unneeded parts of the mesh 5) disable the mesh renderer. Great for non-linear stairs. Box colliders slightly smaller than the mesh work for round objects too.
