Who the FUCK would approve building a data center ("technology campus") so close to town and also, BIGGER THAN THE TOWN ITSELF?!! We are fucked. I am fucked.
Show PostI just came from an anti data center rally in town & 2 things: 1. It was ALL old people. Literally everyone was my parents' age. No one younger than me, for sure. 2. The one data center that is being built *right* outside of town (1 mile from my house) is actually bigger than the town itself.

Over at the beach today. I’ve a small grocery shop this week so I said “whole foods is on the way home. It can’t be that much more”. My friends, what should’ve been $15 would be over $40 & there were items I wouldn’t have even gotten due to price. It felt like Thunderdome in there. Thanks no. 😵😵😵
