The city of Haarlem is a short train ride from Amsterdam, and much quieter. It has plenty to see, including St Bavo's church.

Clever politics by Burnham. Loud music on trains and rip off parking fines resonate with the public. Trivial perhaps but better than scrapping winter fuel payments. But eventually these measures will have to be matched by bigger shifts

It’s fascinating me because we’ve now had a couple of decades of people with nice steady work in Old Media insisting that there’s no paid work for us, but what we all need to do if we want to make comedy or documentaries or films is just go on YouTube or the internet. Cos that’s so easy. Right?
