there’s no shortage of old white dudes with terrible politics and by all accounts Cleese was always a bit of a dick but this one is still so depressing, I was a big time Python nerd growing up and Cleese is imo one of the most gifted comedians of all time this just sucks

I saw a social media post today where someone was pointing out how the left is fine without interacting with the right, but the right keeps needing the left. Anything the right makes for the right flops (social media, TV shows, whatever). I found it an interesting point.
