it feels like the number of artists/vendors is outpacing the growth of cons/the general fandom, even though it's pretty dang rapid since 2020. i keep hoping we'll hit a balance but i think there's lots of factors (loss of creative jobs, increasing disability leading to people seeking flexibility)

Hamlet has been attached at the hip to my partner since she got back from Reno. she's out on the balcony for a phone call and he scrambled his hefty ass up the tree to keep line of sight on her.
