It seems that my new line manager is from the same village as my ex from many years ago. And knows him. This is the one and only ex I genuinely despise. All good though - she made a face like she'd just stood in shit when his name came up so we're going to get along just fine.

It's been a low few months after dropping a third of my salary going back to old job (after 6 years). Had interview on Friday for a temp internal job and didn't think I'd done particularly well - although I was just happy that I didn't freeze and got through it ok. Turns out I went and got it!
