It’s steep (>700 feet elevation gain), slippery, and a ton of scrambling. I saw two helicopter rescues in the 1 hour I was hiking… They told us there are over 200 rescues a year and last year 4 deaths on this trail. 😱 2/2

We hiked 1.5 miles of a 2nd trail but Miles was acting a bit off so I though he might be sore. I let the doggos rest and did the Cathedral Rock Trail. It’s short (1.5 miles) but still up there with the toughest hikes I’ve done. 1/

Today I made it to Sedona, AZ! I dropped most of the doggos off at daycare then hiked the Boynton Canyon Trail with #MilesMischief and #NolaShenanigans. Over 900 feet elevation gain and 6.6 miles!

I’m driving cross-country for work this week and drove extra long yesterday to make a little detour to see Grandma! She just celebrated her 94th bday last week, and I’m so blessed to spend whatever time I can with her. ❤️
