An update for my patreons who have been supporting the farm. We recently poured half of the cash we have into a new $STARDEW coin and… it’s gone. I’m sorry. The second update is that I attempted to hedge our meager crop output on Kalshi. It did not work out. The other half of our cash is gone.

Nearly 170,000 pounds of meat products are being recalled because they were falsely labeled as having gone through federal inspection. The affected products were produced before Sept. 22 and may have false USDA inspection labels that say “EST. 1363.”

This has already been done numerous times, and reflects the fact that "moderate" wastewater levels no longer predict hospitalizations or deaths. The flu poses a significantly larger threat than COVID and has for the past two winters now.
