Show Postbsky.app/profile/taka... If you're not clued in about Maeda's legacy, an old face from Kazamatsuri, Takafumi, produced this amazing documentary on his life. It's gonna have a more somber and bittersweet tone now, but it's still very worth watching.
Show PostI really can't understate how much of an impact Jun Maeda had on me. I wouldn't be who I am without his work. My sense of humour was very strongly influenced by his, but he also helped me reconnect with my humanity and nurture my sense of empathy. He taught me to cry over fictional characters.
Show PostTragic... He's too young to die from cancer. But at the same time, I have nothing but respect for one who chooses to face their own mortality and confront it head on. It's not a decision anyone makes lightly, and he deserves our unwavering support. It does seem like the Maeda way, doesn't it...
