I don't know how to get over the fact that companies immediately were like "eh, fuck our customers" as soon as US food safety standards were legally loosened. The infrastructure was already there. There had to be a conscious decision and action to fuck things up as badly as they did.

This was a Nazi tactic. Justify public hate based on country of origin or skin colour, then connect that to being not [nationality] enough. Now you've got that "not enough" category you can put anyone in it. Just frame something they do as "not [nationality] enough" & you can persecute them.

I don’t like his term ‘ if you feel English ..’ Feeling it has nothing to do with it . Can I ‘feel’ Norwegian ???? Someone is legally British if they hold a British nationality status, such as British citizenship, through birth, descent, or naturalisation. Ethnicity doesn’t vitiate this .

Something AI is responsible for that doesn't get enough talk: How, when it scrapes a website to illegally steal everything on it, it uses up a ton of its bandwidth allotment, crashing it or racking up massive fees for site owners.
