I recently released a psychological horror visual novel! Gavriil and Yeva, strangers who met by chance on the same train, in the same cabin, and when their train derails in the middle of nowhere- they're suddenly forced to work together to survive. Download page: gelppy.itch.io/vacation-ter...

You're definitely overthinking it. Any content creator/streamer worth your time will be happy to be asked a genuine question in good faith and interact with their viewers. In fact, there may be someone who's just as nervous to ask the same question and would be glad that you put yourself out there.

Alot of such games are just very samey in terms of aesthetics, gameplay loop and ideas. There needs to be a hook, something that changes up the experience enough to make the game interesting compared to others. Can't just be a straight up clone, especially if you're a cloning a model that sucks.
