People love to shit on jamband fans—and there is tons of shit on. But overall, jamband fans make better audiences than the vast majority of what you get at other shows. Whether this is a compliment of jamband fans or an indictment on other concert attendees largely sucking is up to you to decide.

Cool moment during Sturgill last night. A chick who'd posted up behind me about 2 hrs in tapped me on the shoulder and said "Grateful Dead or Phish?" I said Goose. She smiled and said "I knew you were a jamband fan! I saw you dancing, that's why I made my way up here. You feel music in your bones."
