It's a choice (a bad one) to tell readers this driver "passed too close to cyclists" when there's video evidence showing he drove his car into them, made contact and hurt someone. Fellow journalists: we can explore the nuances of punishment for drivers without obfuscating their dangerous behavior.

Finally I'm in a bus lane on Fifth in Oakland, Pittsburgh. It astounds me that there hasnt been a bus lane here going Downtown in all these years!

Not so hot take - the 61D should be a PRTX line to Downtown. Terminating it in Oakland doesn't make sense to me
