We finally got an NOA! The lab now has a brand new R01 from the NINDS to fund our work on synaptic biology in the olfactory system through 2031!

They didn’t need to enroll in my section, or confront the fact that they were there again. One of the courses is an optional coding class. Nonetheless, both students approached me after class to say they were there to give it another shot. I told them I was really happy to see them.
