I met An as her talk at Cosyne immediately followed mine. We chatted about how our projects fit in the session’s theme and laughed about technical issues stressing out already nervous ECRs giving their talks. Still shocked by what happened after. Glad to see this is published now.

Stimulation of M1 elicited learned movements in mice. But the stimulation needed to be of the right ~20 neurons, with the right interconnections, at the right time, at the right initial brain state, and in the right behavioural context. V. cool!🤩 Something to think about for rehabilitation efforts.
