Doesn't help all the years of trauma and abuse and betrayal and etc has left me barely able to interact with people on too many levels. I know how annoying and how much I can be, I know I can be too passionate or belligerent, so I'm scared I'll just never have anyone who accepts or wants me for me.

Arguably, Rowling is responsible for making transphobia a mainstream culture war issue. One that the Republicans campaigned on in 2024. She's way more responsible for the second Trump presidency happening than any broke queer leftists that always get blamed for it.
