Today I got the result of my formal complaint re: Porter absolutely screwing me over on a recent flight. And surprise, surprise: They've decided they were not at fault. *That* is our current reality. Letting industry decide what is "reasonable" is how we more deeply entrench enshittification.

Breaching the Animal Welfare Act 2006 carries consequences – from suspended sentences to lifetime bans on keeping animals. Anyone responsible for an animal must give them a proper environment, a proper diet, and protection from pain and suffering, or they face criminal charges. 🧵
